Why is this popping up every 5 seconds and how do i stop it?

I would need to know what you're doing, and what it's saying. You should see text printed in the Log Viewer - this would be helpful. It would also be good to send one of the reports so I can take a look.

Also, what version of SW are you on?

Will this update work with Solidworks 3.0? Is it possible to use the 1.5 plugin and save an mxs for 1.6 Studio?

The new plugin is for SolidWorks 2007 SP3.1 and greater. As far as I know, the old plugin should work ok with Maxwell 1.6, but I haven't tested that.

I'm pretty sure this was due to me using a lower service pack - i just tried it with 3.0 and it seems to work.

Like the new interface by the way - looks better than Studio.
