Often its a textured mxm material that has lost is bitmap images. Check all your materials in the scene and make sure there are no red crosses. This also applies to material you have loaded but not yet assigned to an object.

That usually cures it for me.

Next Limit really need to come up with a better way of saving these material jpg in some sort of standard path or within the mxm that can then be "cracked" open to change the jpgs etc when tinkering with the material. After tinkering, the mxm file needs to seal again and just be a stand alone file with the jpgs etc embedded in it.


I have to say I am struggling with random crashes every 10-20 minutes using Maxwell now - it really grinds my system to halt when the Studio is open an my whole computer becomes unresponsive. This is not even when rendering.

Anyone have a success with it?
