Has anyone experienced this issue:

I'm running SW2007 SP0.0. It runs fine.

When launching the Maxwell PM from within SW I get this error message:

Runtime Error

Program: C:\Progam Files\Solidworks\sldworks.exe

This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more information.

SW then locks up and I have to Ctrl/Alt/Del my way out of it.

I deleted the dll. went into the registry and deleted the references to it, then rebooted and installed the plugin per the manual instructions.

I'm still encountering the error.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Any help would be appreciated.

Me too, I just installed sw2007 sp0.0, trying to start the plugin results in instant crash to desktop.

Thanks jd. You guys are great!! Your work around solved my problem. Hopefully theres an update around the corner that will fix this. The strange thing is that it was working fine in SW2007 pre-release downloaded from the sw website, but when I installed sw from the dvd they sent, I got the error.
