Hi All,

First post, just thougt of sharing a few renderings and maybe get a few tips on the way. I'm impressed with all the good work people do around here, Thanks all for sharing !

Rendered with SW texture on "table".

Created materials with coating in MW Studio and assigned mxm file as material in SW.

Tested creating a kind of "studio" lighting - still some hours to go :wink:

can you give us some details on materials and studio set up! especially the first one..

is that a plstic tube.. IV or something..

i am having difficulties with clear stuff..

The studio setup is quite simple, a background and two "lights" on each side with an emitter material.

The materials have the following values:

Plastic tube
Dielectric (plastic polycarbonate)
rgb color: 255,255,255
Absorbance: 0,01
uRough/vRough: 0
Abbe: 39,89
Nd value: 1,54

Plastic
Diffuse color: 0,100,0
Specular color: 0,128,64
uRough/vRough: 0,2
Absorbtion: 0,7
Scattering: 0,2

On the camera I often use fStop 11 to get a visible depth of field ( these are quite small models)
