Quick question to those using MR for rendering only (not animation) - is V3 faster than V2? If so, approx. how much faster?

We just received an email (those who purchased) with testimonials from MR and it said someone ran tests and it was "16x" faster. I never used v2, just what I read.

It won't be 16x faster in general. What did that email say exactly?

There have been optimisations in mostly motionblur, voxelisation, FIRE...for example: http://www.maxwellrender.com/V3/feature/improvedfire
However rendering scenes in general, especially non animated will not be substantially faster in V3.

We see some gains in one or another scene. We use a lot of heavy geometry plus complicated materials. So no slowdown with all those new features is very good.
