Hi Juan,

It is rather strange. You can start the network monitor as normal, add a job and assign some nodes. The job will start and everything seems like it should.
Then, after some time (10-15 minutes), you could try to add another job or preview the current one, or stop it, or release one of the nodes. Nothing will happen.

If you quit and restart the Monitor, you will again be able to send commands. (add job, start/stop etc..)
And then, after some minutes, you´ll have to quit it again.

It is random for how often it happens, but it happens more than it does not. Not sure if this is some permission thing on Mac, or if there are some lag in the system.
As the first post in this thread, you can read in the console that "job is submitted" - but in never shows up.

Regards,
Tor M

Tor, do you see something in the console when it happens? It seems like the monitor is disconnected from the manager, I cannot see any other reason.

l1407, does it happen as soon as you start the monitor or after a while like in Tor's case?

Hi,

I have just replied Proxel in this thread:

http://www.maxwellrender.com/forum/view ... 64#p375164

Could you please answer the same questions?

1- Could you please check the render node does not print any license warning at the beginning? In the console, above anything else, it should say something like:
Code: Select all
[13/December/2013 13:29:06] Floating license checked out from server : localhost
[13/December/2013 13:29:06] Found valid floating license
[13/December/2013 13:29:06] License name: XXXX
[13/December/2013 13:29:06] Company: XXXX
[13/December/2013 13:29:06] Expiration date: permanent
[13/December/2013 13:29:06] Issued by: NEXTLIMIT
Can you confirm you see something similar?

2- Every time you try to add a job you see the "### Submitting job...###" message in the monitor right? Do you see any message in the manager and nodes immediately after that?

3- Does it happen even when you have just one single node in the network?

4- Could you please send us the logs (menu->file->save log) of monitor, manager and node?

Thanks!

Juan

Thanks l1407,

- Regarding the second question, which messages do you see in manager and node at that time?
- You can upload them to any location (dropbox, youshareit, speedyshare, etc) or you can send us a mail via the customer portal.

Thanks!
