how we can save preset ?
i test scene created in v2.7 ; i hide all plane have grass ;in fire or render viewport the grass rendered; i hide it manually but with many planes or objects i can't do that

Hide the generating plane to camera instead and the grass will be invisible too. We did it this since in some cases you want the generating geometry to be hidden, but still have the grass visible.

it useful in some cases ; if you add under render options/Globals : grass modifier to disable it from render easily
