Hi Jean, sad to say, the crashes are back.

This is really stealing my time from the project, I know that you should not switch/update, but M3 came out before the project started.

I hope that I could be on the next beta testing phase, I am a bug magnet.

Does the logs tell you anything?

The "crashing" project takes about 10 phys.mem to render and the "rendering" project uses about 3. ML is enabled in the crashing project.

I understand you have 4 macs, could you also please confirm that the crashing scene crashes when rendered locally on the other three macs, too? This is to quickly rule out the possibility of hardware/memory problems on that machine.

I can confirm that the crashing scene crashes on all four macs, and the "rendering" scene renders on all four mac

I think maybe this should be moved out of this thread because it doesn't seem to have something to do with network itself?

Sure -- we only just uncovered that fact. The zipped scene Tor linked above (this one) renders fine on my win7 x64 machine, but crashes on all 4 of his macs, so I guess this ball is in Nacho's court.

for the stats:

i also gave it a try, and could as well render the scene fine on win7/64, with ~9Gb ram usage.
it pretesselates for a few minutes in the beginning.
