as it seems overly complicated to post anything in the RealFlow Forum and this is Maxwell related as well:

I'm AGAIN unable to render anything on my desktop due to the rlm not starting. no matter how often I click Reread/ Restart Servers in the rlm interface - the Nextlimit server is being shown as down on my desktop pc. (there is no issue at all on the laptop which is really confusing.)

I'm not running Cinema/ Maxwell/ RealFlow|c4d at any time on both PCs, haven't even started Cinema on both at the same time... and it is no use to switch of the rlm on the laptop and try to activate it on the desktop - it just doesn't start...

restarting the desktop changes nothing. there is no way I seem to be able to make rlm run/ connect so I cannot use any NL product.
