I feel a bit stupid, but I'm not able to change the size of the panels in the Maxwell Render interface. Some are so small right now, that I can't really use them but I didn't find any way to lock/unlock the interface. It seems to be locked. Thanks for help!

Under "Window" > "Load Layout" you can always load a default layout, one of your saved ones or the last state.

sorry, I was not talking about studio, but about the render client. I don't find any settings there

In the folder C:\Users\User\Documents\Maxwell
(User = windows user) is a file called maxwellprefs_v3.ini
in my it said "panelsLocked=true". I changed that to "false" and not it works but I did not find any setting inside the renderer ...

if you r-click on the separator (where you would grab to resize a panel) you get a pop-up bar to set these options
