When I disconnect my laptop from WLAN/internet, Studio is still licensed, RLM is running on the laptop, the Windows Firewall is off - Studio opens near instantly and large MXSs open and save rapidly.

When I connect my laptop to WLAN/internet, even without a browser open, Studio and MSXs open extremely slowly.

That's all I can say, I'm afraid.

Search for a studioprefs_v3.ini file on your system and delete it, then try to restart again. On Win this file is in C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Maxwell

Does Maxwell.exe start up normally?

Have you tried a reinstall?

Thanks, Mihai, that did the trick - runs like a young horse again!

I think this was the thing regarding "deleting some preferences" I mentioned 1 or 2 weeks ago. Now all I have to do is to remember...
