 How did you accomplish this? Whenever I map a material, I get a runtime error instantly.

You need to keep up with us

This has been fixed... you can download the new update (ver0.6) to Rhinoll which solves this problem.

Thomas, I am on the 06/17 built - is there any newer? Right now, I am getting runtime errors as soon as I throw any material into the scene.

Are you still using the Maxwell alpha by any chance ?

Also, try a different Rhino template and see if it helps (your current one might have old Rhinoll plugin data in it)

As far as I can tell the new Rhinoll (06/17) is rock solid. I can't get it crash under any circumstances yet. I have tested with assigning maerials groups of multiple objects (at least 1000 simultaneously) ... no crashes.

What you describe, is classic behavior of the earlier Rhinoll-0.59.

Nope - I have the complete Maxwell-Viewer, SSS and all.

That sounds like a good idea.

And that sounds fantastic. :D
I'll keep posting.

Thanks!

Hi Thomas, it finally worked out. Very strange, but i can recall, that I had that once before. I was still on the first beta release, you were right.
My mistake:
I downloaded the 06/17 version and extracted it into the Rhinoll folder. The compressor tool (7-Zip) asked me if i wanted to replace the existing rhno.rhp. I certainly typed yes - but it actually didn't overwrite the old file.
Goodness!
Using a new template turned out valuable as well. Because things didn't work out with the new plugin. Not at all! What Rhinoll did with my sytem date, time of day, whatever environment settings is hard to explain - it messed up everything in a very sticky manner. Purging all material settings and a new file finally helped.

thanks, Holger
