Greetings All,
I purchased Maxwell today, It's been 5 hours and I've had no response? I was hoping to get started right away, I have a project that Flamingo just will not do. I guess I'm fishing for a response from some one connected with Maxwell to perhaps kick start a worker in getting my software key or download link.

Hope the Maxwell people work on the weekends. If not, for future reference make the purchasing an automated download. I hate waiting for purchased software, and in these times, we shouldn't have to.

Hi Stephen,

It happens all the time here. People buying on a weekend get their key on Monday morning.

Also, I hope you understand that you what you are buying is an alpha version. I don't know if you will be able to use it for serious work right now. The Rhinoll plugin is still not there yet.

I knew it was Alpha, but I did figure I could get some work done with it. Likely I'll revert to Flamingo, but one can hope :)

Yeah, in terms of lighting realism there is simply no comparison, but I am bit frustrated right now with the material loss problem ... I can't trust Rhinoll at this point.

Well, It looks like the Beta is very close. Maybe Rhinoll will be treated with a face lift also. With my luck, the beta will be out before I ever get a copy. :(

as I buy Maxwell, I have done a simple bank transfer and send a copy of the transfer paper per email and than i have got the license - all together three hours. I think, you will got your license fast, but I'm not sure the NL team is working on weekend. :wink:

Well the programers (Oscar, Ignacio, Victor, Albert etal) are probably working 24/7 :D

Its the administrative staff that most likely go home on the weekends. :wink:

I think you're right about them going home on the weekend. Oh I long for those office hours... Anyways, I already paid them with a credit card, so I guess I got them about 8pm Friday their time and likely will have to wait til Monday.
Bye the way, it's nice to see posts by Micha here, and I appreciate the post by ThomasAn. You've both done some great work informing other users with some great posts. I especially liked Micha's post regarding HDRI and AIR. ( over on the Rhino forum ) I still haven't got the results I want, but your post got me much closer. Thanks to the both of you.

Well, it's Monday morning 9:45am in Spain, so why have I not got an email after I've payed for the software last Friday? I'm not too pleased by the service so far. I've sent emails directly to customer service too, and no response. The Website claims you will get a confirmation email and download within 5hrs. Please correct this so people buying on a Friday know it's more like 72hrs + on a Friday purchase. What do you have to do to get a response on customer service questions? Does the work day start later in Spain? I wouldn't think so. I know you programers work very hard and long hours. Maybe one of you can do something?

Very frustrated.

A few other people in the past complained with the same problem... it turned out that NextLimit was responding to them several times, but all responses were being caught by spam filters. Not sure if this is the case this time though.

You are getting too worked up.

Slow down... take a deep breath... relax.

When I got Maxwell there was no Rhino plugin at all and didn't get to see if it works at all until two months later.
