#296647
Hello,
we're experiencing an issue here, installed Maxwell 1.7.1 and Rhino V4 (the latest plugin) on the ASUS Pro5AV notebook.
Everything installed fine but when opening/importing the MXM materials they appear as empty (I double checked the folders and everything is there, as usual).
Anyone has a suggestion about the cause and a possible solution ?
Thank You.

Hi Paolo,

I'm not aware of any particular issue which would cause this, so could you let me know a few other details:

1. which version of the plugin was installed previously?
2. what is reported if you click main menu > Maxwell > About?
3. is the MXM Browser pointing at a directory you have permission to work in?

On the last item, does it behave any differently if you copy a folder with MXMs onto your local desktop, then point the MXM Browser at that file? Also, could you zip and email me a few of these MXM files? You can use the email in my forum profile.

Thanks,

JD

Thanks JD,
my assistant took the notebook with her over the weekend to complete a job, thus I will check your sugegstion on next Monday.
I think point 3 makes sense since something similar happened to me some years ago with another application and another OS but with similar behaving.

Thanks again

Paolo
