Hi,
just wanted to check that I am doing things the right way.
1. Created a floor in Rhino which is a planner surface.
2. Apply material 'Slate Tile' from MXM database.
3. Tiles too big so I applied a texture mapping, keep as surface projection.
4. Still in texture mapping I changed the UVW Repeat on U & V from 1 to 3 and now I have correct size tiles in my rendered viewport.

Is this the correct way?

Thanks
Rich

Ok, I see how it works. useful on a floor or wall.
Apply real scale (with CTRL + SHIFT) then if scale still not right change the x and y to the size you want.

Wood grain is still a pain in the butt!

Thanks JD

Hi JD,
within rhino the CTRL + SHIFT on the spinners works well.
Can I do a simliar thing in material editor MXED?

I'm not sure about that - I think the behavior of drag/dropping textures from slot to slot is different based on the state of the CTRL key, but I don't think there's any way to affect all the texture parameters at once like in the plugin's material editor.
