This is probably a dumb question. But theres got to be a simple way to put more than one material on a single object. Ive gone through the help files but have not been able to make it work. Can anyone spell it out to me in super easy 1.2.3 easy to understand language? I switched from sketchup to rhino because I like modeling in Rhino so much better. But the material application part is proving to be a pain in the ass. Which I'm sure it shouldn't be right?

More than one material per object is not supported, so you would need to split the object. That aside, material assignment should be really easy - what seems to be the problem?

That pretty much answers it. I was under the misguided impression that I could apply different materials to individual faces of an object. Thanks for your reply. I will "revise" my work flow.
