Rhinoll 0.5.5

If you have two objects with different Maxwell materials assigned, and select both objects then open object properties, they both will be assigned the same material (one of the objects will adopt the material of the other object).

Actually this could be a handy feature to copy material settings from one object to another, but also is annoying if you're not doing it on purpose!

Oh. That is not good for someone who keeps the Object Properties dialog docked so that it is open all the time.

My object dialog (f3) is opened all the time as I worked in Rhino, all works fine and then I can't confirm that bug. maybe it appears only with selecting two or more objects and then open object properties dialog.

Ooops, I missed one step.
If you have both objects (with different materials applied) selected, then open object properties (or it can already be open), and hit the edit buttone in the object propreties dialog, then they both will inhert a single material. Maybe it was designed to do this, but it would be nice for a warning to pop up or something of the sort to stop unco-ordinated people like myself from indavertantly changing materials.
