Howdy,

I open the material editor by double clicking on a material in the database manager. Then I hover the cursor over a text/name until it's description tooltip thingy will come on. At this point just wait until the tooltip panel times out and closes automatically. From this point on, you won't be able to bring it back.

I tried to close and reopen the material editor but those tooltips that timed out, won't show again.

Thanks, I see it. As a workaround, it looks like they will be reset if you cycle the plugin option 'Show InfoTips' off, then back on.
