Howdy,

Just a quick note that using the latest 1.7.31 plug (with R4 SR4b) the date displayed on the Date/Time tab of the Scene Manager is not in sync with the date on the Location tab. The date on the Location tab will default back to march 20 (or 24 - can't remember) after you quit and restart and open the same file.

1. Set a date and time in the Date/Time tab.
2. Set a location in the Location tab and verify that the date/time matches to that of the Date/Time field.
3. Save the file. Quit. Start again. Open the scene.
4. The date/time in the Date/Time tab is correct, but on the Location tab the date keeps defaulting back to March 20 or so.

You will have to change the day in the Date/Time tab in order to resume sync between the 2 tabs.

Thanks, but those steps are working fine here. Any chance your issue seems to be related to any particular date/time?

No. The date/time doesn't matter. It also gives me the same result whether I try it at work or at home.

Do you feel like sending me a small file, and I can tell you what I see when I open it? I also wouldn't mind seeing a screenshot of your plugin options, in case there's a clue about the cause there.

I confirm the error. The date & time tab shows the correct time that I have
set before the save.

But after closing Rhino, then re-opening Rhino, and opening the saved file.
The date & time tab is correct, but the location tab shows March 20 4pm.

Sure, here is a R4 file (357K). The Date/Time tab should say: 9am December 25, 2008. However, the Location tab will say: March 20, 4:00 pm.

And a screenshot of the plugin options:

Thanks for checking!

Did I ever tell you how much I love computers?

Cute, huh? I'll look through your options and see if I can come up with anything there...

... and as you probably know by now - I (still) have the same problem :)

lol .. Not sure if I'll be speaking out of turn here JD. But we're nerds,
we'll ok, if we don't like that term, we're super-analytical people that
talk to and occasionally yell at inanimate objects. We must love them,
or we wouldn't keep putting up with their inconsistencies. Maybe our
love with them is an unconditional one.

I tried to teach my ex about unconditional love, didn't work.

That image is not visible JD. Nevertheless, you prolly heard of Murphy's Law for the Developers: "It works on my machine!" :-)

Oh, sorry if you can't see the image - it shows how it looks when I opened your file, and of course...as you guessed, it works fine. Lovely. :) I'll let you all know here if/when I'm able to make it fail.
