You know I get emails too, right?

I don't know about any fogginess, I thought I'd been pretty clear about this. As it is, SR3 is not released yet, and there is no SDK for it yet either. I have some very important new tools and improvements already, besides instances, and I won't wait for those to move ahead with what I've got now - which is solid, but needs to be tested before release.

I just remebered you telling about some additions in SR3 you need for the instances to work and thought, now that it`s (almost) out you might get an insight about how to make it work... just common impatience, you know

No worries...common impatience, or any other kind is just fine...when it's polite. If it helps, I think you'll find the new stuff pretty useful...imho, quite a bit more useful than instances in most scenarios.

If I read this thread right, users of Maxwell-Rhino are to NOT install Rhino 4.SP3

Is it currently correct to NOT install SP3?

Right now I have Rhino 4.0 installed with SP2 applied and also the Hot Fix 1 to SP2 applied.

Is Rhino 4.0 + SP2 + "Hot Fix 1 to SP2" the current recommended patch level of Rhino to use with the latest Maxwell+Rhino-Maxwell plugin?

Hi Bruce,

It (plugin version 1.6.1) should work fine with SR3. When I compile a version that is SR3-specific, then SR3 will be required. But for 1.6.1, SR2 is the minimum requirement.
