Hi JD, me again ;)

I succeeded so far in changing the preview scene, just got to options and set a different path c:/programms/next limit/preview/toms_stage1 ...

it works fine with any new material I create, but the ones created while the default preview was applied, just stick to this preview scene!

any clues to get this changed? I tried reopening rhino again, no success, maybe a reboot???

You have set the default preview scene in plugin options - now, this one will be used for newly created or imported materials. But - every material stores and uses its own scene (that's why you can change the default one) so that you can always render different kinds of materials with an appropriate scene. For each material, choose the scene you want to use here:
