When I try to render the RhinollTest.3dm I get this error...

which rhinoll version? Info from your log is false (0.5.5 also identified itself as 0.5.1).. do you have your MAXWELL_ROOT environment variable set? (try cmd.exe, and type 'echo %MAXWELL_ROOT%')...

Ok, I typed in COMMAND PROMPT this:
echo %MAXWELL_ROOT%


Like this:

C:\Program Files\rhinoll>echo %MAXWELL_ROOT%
%MAXWELL_ROOT%

Then this came up:

C:\Program Files\rhinoll>

Rhinoll is loaded in the PLUGINS folder with this address:
C:\Program Files\rhinoll\Rhinoll.rhp

What could be wrong?

I uninstalled the old plugin and downloaded the 5.5 and having this problem. But why?

your MAXWELL_ROOT env variable disappears...

C:\Documents and Settings\znouza>echo %MAXWELL_ROOT%
C:\_data\programy\Next Limit\Maxwell\

right click on My computer, select properties, select Advanced, click on Environment and set MAXWELL_ROOT env variable in system variables. MAXWELL_ROOT should point to the installation directory of Maxwell (not Rhinoll)

Do not load RhinollTest.3dm.
Can you render something from scratch ? (brand new file)

are you able to run mxcl from command line?

start->run.... type 'cmd', then 'mxcl'...

if not, add MAXWELL_ROOT to the environment settings or reinstall maxwell renderer (not rhinoll)

MAXWELL_ROOT should contain the complete path to the mxcl binary (eg. c:\program files\next limit\maxwell\)
