Hire Brian Perry and have him doing the plugin... I don't mean to be harsh, but the guy has a nice template to start from, and we here in Rhinoland are way behind...

I would like for the MXM editor to open the file in the MXM Material edit box (if there is one specified) when you click the Open Maxwell Material Editor button.

Hi,

Dragging and dropping materials from the standalone editor into Rhino would make sense?

Texturing in the plugin (I know about the Brazil one, but I have a copy from uni so can't download it). If it can be done in studio, surely it can't be hard to do it in Rhinoll?.

Working with Bongo would be great :)

Regards,

Mark

Brazil? The RCM tool can be used from every render plugin and Rhinoll should install it by it self. The rhinoll developer should contact the McNeel team.

Hi,

It would be nice to have the ability to flick between the "basic" maxwell presets and the "advanced" layering system. Aparently there is a wizard in studio? Though I haven't found it and the manual doesn't seem to help!

It would also be useful to have some selection options, selecting by material (and lack of) and to select objects which are stopping the render from starting...

Regards,

Mark

Hi Mark,
The material wizard is inside the Maxwell material wizard. When you click file you will see “Material Wizard” in the drop down menu.

Cheers,
Mark
