Thomas, I just check my plastic setting (color and specular) and i can say that the problem doesn't come from here. But, this morning I make other test and i find other mistake in my material setting which can cause the rendering to be false. As I 'm using some old scene, i have found that my plastic got some SSS parameter turn to 0.01. I think this can produce some longer rendering time so later i will test the same scene again but without SSS. I also notice that these SSS produce some small artifact (pixel dots).

Now I 'm testing another scene and it really appears to be faster at the beginning but also need a very long time to remove the noise. Anyway, I think it's hard to say that 's 4x faster.
