Hi Frances,
I have seen your render were you use an mxi emitter map, I to want to create an mxi emitter map but when I open the mxi viewer and load an image and save as mxi file the map doesn't show in my render.
Can you help me, what am i doing wrong?

Thanks, Nico.

Hi Nico,

Apply an emitter material to the object you want. Then edit your material and browse to your mxi image for the MXI Emitter Map slot in the editor. The intensity is determined when you create the mxi file. The intensity control in the emitter material editor has no effect.

For that sitting room scene, I gave the mxi image an intensity of 200.

Thanks, I have thought it is without hidden lines now. The method with screenshot of the mesh without transparency should not be a problem for your PC.

Yeahhh, looks good. :)

One hint more for future projects: if you like to get a more mesh like view or only want to get edge lines, than you can change in the object properties the iso line count.
