Maybe, but I am not convinced this is clearly a Maxwell problem in this case.

Like they say "Junk in, junk out". In this instance I gave Maxwell a bad model to start with (missing triangles, distorted, etc) so I do expect some imperfections.

Therefore, I would not use this to file a bug report.
