I really like the new HDR convert to mxi we have now. Only problem I have now is getting an alpha channel to cut out my objects from my scene in photoshop. I guess since my whole scene that is being viewd through the camera has geometry in it now It gives me an all white alpha channel. Is this correct? I wish that you could specify an alpha channel per object in your scene and name it.

Eric,

You might try rendering in two passes.
1. Normal render of the scene and then
2. Render only one object... hiding everything else and select to do an alpha-channel only ("Render Channels only").

Good call Thomas. There always does seem to be a workaround. Hopefully in the future this can be more integrated. I will give it a go.
Thanks again.
