I'm running Beta 1.2 and Rhinoll 0.6. When launching Rhino I get the following message:

Loading Rhinoll, version 0.6 (Beta) - Jun 17 2005 12:38:49
Loading Rhinoll Session
Rhinoll data in the loaded scene is not the same version as your actual Rhinoll version
It could cause some inestabilities

The scene is empty. No objects, no materials. So why am I getting this message?

Your Rhino template file must contain "something" made from the previous Rhinoll

I would have thought that as well, but there are absolutely no objects in my template file. Not even hidden, or on non-visible layers. I tried everything to prove this:

Choose option ( Extents Selected ): _Extents
Unable to zoom - no objects are visible.
Command: _SelAll
No objects added to selection.
Command: _Show
No objects are hidden.

I have the beta and rhinoll 0.6 on two computers and both come up with the same error (and I don't think the templates are the same). It doesn't stop me from using Rhino and Maxwell, and the new Maxwell interface launches and works fine.

Does anyone else get this error on launch?

This is very strange. (I don't get the error, unless I open an old Rhinoll file)

if you choose File-->New and open a different Rhino template, does it happen again ?

The problem goes away if I choose any other template file.

Thanks Thomas.

I still can't figure out why that particular template file has problems, but it was created when I had the alpha resident on both computers.

Yeah, it is likely some traces left behind in the (invisible) user data (plugin data) section of the file.

Try to flash it.
Goto to the command line and type "-saveas" (use the dash "-") and then choose the "purgeplugindata" option. Then save the file as template again.
