Hy every one,

I have had an electric crash in my building when two Maxwell render works in my computer ( SL 17 and 18...)....and I see that I have lost the second...It's normal?
I always in the past worked only "one " render...each time.

Hi Rober,

Sorry, but I maybe don't understand by what you mean when you say 'lost'. What happened to your computer when the electrical problem occurred? If your computer lost power and rebooted, there is no way to guarantee the integrity of any file that was being written when it happened.

I remember que the difference with Flamingo was that Maxwell "always"
save the work at the "point" when there is an accident ...one of these two render is saved !

Well, a program has no way to predict an 'accident' like a power-outage. How Maxwell works is like this:

1. render to SL1
2. save image
3. render to SL2
4. save image
5. render to SL3
6. etc...

So, if it was saving the image when the power went out, you may lose it. It can be more complex than that too, but that's the basic idea.

rober, if both images were overwriting themselves (same output name)...the one with the last SL calculated is the one is saved.
If you rename the outputs before rendering you're saving every render.

iker is right, that must be your problem.
the same thing happened to me too. auto name images helps, but only if your second rendering is started after the first has already reached its first SL (and the first jpg is written).

Hello Iker :)!and hello kami also,
I think remember that I saved two output mxs and two png with different name...and for an exact description one png is ok and the other I have apparently one simbolic icon(no a little image)
of a file of 1Mb more or less but when I try to open a window appear...

Then the problem described by JD may have occurred.

If you've also written two mxi you might check if those are ok?
