I thought that was probably the case. Just keep in mind, it is a 'labs' plugin, so you may want to give McNeel some constructive feedback to help them improve it.

The EdgeSoftening thingy is working out of the box with Maxwell, no need to export meshes.

It's all my bad, sorry Polyxo for the rant... :oops:

There was a layer mess in the file and I had the exported mesh active when I was rendering.
