Hi JD- I have never had this message before but am getting it now after the plug in update- I did install the new Rhino SR4B release and then the new Maxwell Patch before I installed the new Rhino plug in . I haven't started a render yet but was wondering if this is something I need to fix?

"Maxwell: unable to load Maxwell.Script library - uninstalling/reinstalling may resolve this"

Thanks

It shouldn't hurt anything, but I'm curious...have you already tried doing what the messages says to do?

Hi JD- I haven't uninstalled/reinstalled because I wasn't sure if I needed to uninstall just Maxwell or both Rhino and Maxwell and their new services releases together.

Basically I am lazy.... and a little frightened of messing up something that is working pretty well :).

Rhino doesn't know anything about Maxwell, so you can logically consider the plugin as a separate thing as well. Also, there are two ways to uninstall the plugin:

1. using Add/Remove Programs
2. double-clicking on the installer

If you use the second method, rather than just uninstalling, you will be asked if you want to 'Remove', or 'Repair' - you could choose Repair here to accomplish the same thing.
