Yes, that's correct. Well, last time I checked (for Rhino). You can always consult the plugin's the log viewer about this - roughly sixty seconds after startup, you should see printed there whether or not you're running an outdated plugin.

I mean the plugin's log viewier, i.e. main menu > Maxwell > Plugin Windows > Log Viewer.
