sort of, sometimes, this happens to me too, but I can't reproduce it. Only thing is that I quickly save when the display starts becoming slow, because then Rhino definitely crashes. It seems to have to do with either camera/location/environment.

I can't think of any specific thing which would cause such an issue, so try to make sure to send the crash report to McNeel if this happens. If you disable the camera heads-up display and toggle the button in the Database Manager toolbar to 'Disable real-time Materials', then the plugin should have pretty much no interaction with the viewport. You could try that to see if there's any difference.
