Hallo,

here a small wish for the interface. If I try to change the DOF effect, than I change the F stop and must calculate in my head, how much I must change the shutter. I could be a nice feature of Rhinoll, if "+/-" buttons at the f stop parameter would change the value in 1/2 f stops and the shutter would changed per automatic - like the time automatic of my real camera (most I use this mode).

Micha,

I kinda like them manual, because sometimes we need to make independent adjustment, but it is a good idea to have an option that links them together (sort of like a "constrain illumination" checkmark that when checked the two values are linked much like a constrain proportions options for the screen resolution)

... or better, the user set a "brightness fixed" flag and than he can change f stop or shutter and the interface set per automatic the sensitivity of the film. A dream for a photographer.

There is a little tool here that helps :http://atillaakin.com/maxwell/dof.html

Shutterspeed also affects motion blur, so it is good to have the automatic brightness as an option (not permanent).

Also, there is an film ISO setting too that the Max plugin has... which affects brightness as well ... so there is an extra brightness parameter expected to come in Rhino as well.

Thomas,

Thanks for the link. Do you find a way to save the tool to the local hard disk?
