This is a work in progress involving a klein bottle (courtesy of Micha and modified slightly by me).

The image is still early (even though the rest is noise free). I will let it go for a while until the caustic fully develops and the dark areas of the glass fully clear.

This image has 12 bounces and is curently at sampling level 13.

Nice example. Interesting for me, in AIR I have got a bright caustic effect direct under the foot of the bottle. I have test it here with real bottle now, - no bright caustic under the bottle in the real life.

one question: Are you using a colored skydome (slightly orange) or Coolwhite emitters?

Micha: Yes I did the real life test too The maxwell caustic is accurate

Iker: The skydom is turned off (set to zero). Both emitters are type A. It is the emitters that give the color
