I don't know what broke but suddenly most of my MXIs just read indefinitely or get errors on read. I'm in OS X with Nuke 6.0v7

oh - it seems that this might be a problem with Maxwell 2.1 MXI files.

Yes, current plug-in isn't compatible with 2.1 MXIs. A new updated plug-in is coming soon!
