When I open my MXI files in Photoshop they look just fine in 32bit - but when I convert them to 16 bit - they burn out.
If i instead flatten them to 8bit and use HDR toning they come out just fine.

I would like to work in 16bit mode with all the layers - but no burned out emitters.

Anyone any ideas?

do you have multiple layers (multilight) ?

if you go from 32 bit to 16 you have to switch from "linear dodge(add)" to "screen" layer blending.
