#365094
For some reason if I have an animation job already in progress, and I launch a maxwell render node and add it to the job (in my case the newly launched rendernode was the same one that the manager is running on) the newly launched node never really seems to start rendering.

Also the "assigned to" field in the manager display's the IP address, not the hostname.

Would be great to have this working reliably.

thanks,

Same here, it's not only animation, but Cooperative too.

Never found a fix; the only workaround for me is to wait for a break between render jobs and re-launch Manager, which might mean re-adding jobs.

Dropping nodes seems to be no problem though.
