Hi,

The problem is modo SDK (or scripts) doesn't give any help to export these type of geometries. Hopefully in the future Luxology will build into the SDK some functions to help the plug-in developers, but maybe they don't want to.

hi marton,

you are one of the programmers from day8, not? that means it is not possible to do right now?

but modo (in this case brad peebler) always says, they want to be as open as possible towards other programms/ pipelines.

I'll try to ask him, why they not support this type of function...

I asked the same question non the luxology forum, apparently hair/fur is generated at render time same as maya, dont even know if this is a possible request, like martin says probably a more robust SDK would help.
