Not sure how I did this, but the scene manager seems to have gotten minimized inside of it's own window. I can stretch the overall window down as much as I want, to the full height of my monitor viewing area, but the dialogue box remains in the top 1 to 2 inches of the window, with lots of empty grey space below. I've tried numerous toggles, looked for a setting, but nothing.

Is there a window key command I could have accidentally struck that shrunk the dialogue boxes inside the Scene Manager window?

Any ideas?

I guess you installed SU2013. Apparently, this can subtly change how the browser works machine-wide, slightly altering how the CSS works in the plugin, even when running under SU8 (or lower). You should be able to fix it either by uninstalling SU2013, or by downloading this mx.css file (use right-click > Save Link As in your browser) and using it to replace the existing one in [SketchUp]\Plugins\maxwell\sl.

Please let me know if that takes care of the problem on your machine.

Yes, I did install 2013, barebones, but kept SU8, and all of the plug-ins under SU8 folder. I did not know that installing 2013 would affect what happens in SU8, but was nonetheless curious, as the problem only occured after doing so.

Thanks for the prompt response and fix JD...much appreciated.

I have this on osx all the time. Never bothered me as much to mention it here.
But I am on 8 and just installed a test for 2013. So it can't be just 2013. I am on 10.6.8 though. Going to update soon to the most recent osx.

I think this is Windows-only, and it would definitely bother you. It makes the Silverlight part of the window occupy only the top couple-hundred pixels of the window or so, with just an empty grey area appearing below, no matter how tall you make the window:
Code: Select all

   +-------------------+
    (UI here)
   +-------------------+

(just grey space)

   +-------------------+

Yes, it can be handled either by following the instructions in the second post in this thread, or by installing the 2.7.24 plugin, which does not use Silverlight, and which you may find in the Announcements section near the top of this forum. SU2013 is not supported yet, though -- I am not sure if you meant you have SU8 and SU2013, or just SU2013.

If you are on OSX, then changing the mx.css file will not help, since SU2013 refuses to load Silverlight. If you use only SU2013, then it will be difficult to install 2.7.24, since the installers are for SU8. Basically, you would need an SU8 installation first, from which you could copy the plugin files, after they had been installed. If you wait until later today, though, I am finishing up another build that will support SU2013.
