This is the most stupid question ive asked so far.. sorry! I am still discovering maxwell standalone for sketchup.

This is my question. I have an mxm material called seamless bricks. This is just the texture and brick ive been looking for, just not the right color. How do I change the color of the brick from red to grey, and still preserve the bumpmap etc..

thanks!

It depends whether the MXM uses a texture to define its color. If so, then you just need to edit the texture in any image-editing software; it not, then you would need to (have and) use Maxwell MXED to change the RGB colors used in the material's BSDF components.

Ok thanks! so how will I know if it only uses a texture file?

so with the maxwell mxed you can edit all .mxm files,, Where can i get it and what does it cost?

thanks

Without MXED, you will only know that when editing the color texture (or textures) gives you the results you want to see. Maxwell MXED is part of Maxwell Render Suite -- you can find information and prices on that here.
