So if I own Maxwell Render Suite I can export from Sketch-up to Maxwell Render at any resolution, correct? I would not be limited HD resolution?

I am new to sketch up and I have a client that would like me to use it to fit in with their work flow. the trade off is that I can continue to use Maxwell.

Can we create layered materials with in the sketch-up plug-in. Or do I need to create it using mxed and load it?

MXED -- but you can launch MXED from inside the plugin to edit any MXM's you are already using.
