I just upgraded to 2.6 & the sketchup plugin. Now a scene i was previously working on in 2.5 reports errors in the fire window. Perhaps someone can help me diagnose this error:

1 UVW channels (1) on object "Document faces [0.0.0] not enough for "Material2[3]"

2 Data preprocess failed Render cannot continue.

Almost all of the code has been rewritten for this version, so it is possible for something like this to happen when it did not in 2.5.x. May I assume Material2 links to an MXM? If so, you should find that this MXM uses texture channels greater than 0.

The plugin intends to find this out and add redundant sets of UVs, but there must be a case in which this is failing; would it be possible for you to provide your SketchUp model, with most of the geometry deleted, and also the MXM file in question, assuming that you are linking to one?

I reapplied a different texture to material 2 and it solved the problem. I believe this error was related to texturing closed objects within sketchup.

That's good, but there is some bug lurking here, and if you have any idea how I might reproduce it, I would like to hear about it.
