#383618
Hey there

I've been having loads of issues with my OSX and with exporting MXS references to Studio, so have taken the drastic measure of wiping my system entirely and reinstalling everything... and praying that my problems are solved.

However, I've managed to reinstall Sketchup Pro 2014 (v 4.0.4899) and Maxwell Render (3.0.1.0) just fine but it wont allow me to reinstall the plugin (3.0.11)

When I go through the install process, the options are greyed out, and I can see there are only options from Sketchup 6 - Sketchup 2013 in any case. Well I know that version definitely does support my version of Sketchup as I've been using them together up until now... albeit with various issues which may or may not be related to their compatibility.

Would really appreciate your fast response as I've gone to these measures to be able to find some peace with this all which has been driving me mad for weeks... with deadlines now already missed!

Many thanks for your help :)

I have looked through, and the only conclusion is that for an unknown reason, the installer is unable to detect your Sketchup 2014 installation, and that it will be necessary to perform a manual installation, as outlined in the readme file (included in the downloaded zip file).

[edit: actually, one possibility is that you have not run SketchUp 2014 even once yet, prior to running the plugin's installer. In this case, some standard SketchUp 2014 folders will not yet have been created (by SketchUp), and this will cause the plugin to exclude SketchUp 2014 from the list of possible installation targets.]
