Hi everyone,

This is my first post on here. I've had sketchup for ages but only recently purchased the Maxwell Plugin. I have rendered several models sucessfully but I've ground to a halt on my current project!

I've created a model of a car dealership, whilst some materials render properly, others such as the forecourt's tarmac and gravel doesn't even though the same material will render on a different surface absolutely fine? Any ideas would be appreciated. The image below should illustrate it better, the areas marked with red are no rendering as materials.

Thanks,
Lewis :D

The first thing to check would be front- and back-face material assignment. In Scene Manager > Output > Export you will find a Face Materials setting; depending on the value, the plugin will accept either front or back material assignments. Depending which direction faces are facing, and on which side they have materials assigned, this can change how the model renders. Another possibility is SketchUp being unable to write some texture images to disk.
