Sorry, but I have no idea about that. On the question of laptops in general, as far as Maxwell is concerned, you're really just comparing CPUs. If, however, you mean to create content, then graphics will be important, and I don't believe that Apple offers any SolidWorks-approved Quadro or FireGL adapters on a macbook.
