Hi guys,how are you?
I'm returning in a previous scene of Maxwell2.5 ... now with MW2.6. I had a mxi emitter that I remember black and white, but now I see a little "pink dominance". I have eliminate this pink in the material editor changing the mxi (also pink...?) and now seem ok (black and white)in the material editor (mxi emitter.jpg)...but the render in Maxwell Render continue with this pink component . I test this clearly if I muting off the only other image based lighting in the scene (pink.jpg)
Thankyou
rober

Since some MXIs are huge, my point in asking was to see if it was small enough to zip and email...I think so -- could you do that and send it to me (jeremy at nextlimit dot com)?

Thanks for sending the file. If you look at it in maxwell.exe, you'll find that the black area is not really black, but is instead around 13,11,11 RGB, and also has some jpeg noise around the light sources:

If you save the mxi to png, edit it to make the background 0,0,0 black and remove the jpeg noise, then save that as a new mxi, it should work better for you. I'll forward your original mxi to the engine developers, so they can take a look and see why it is rendering differently in 2.6 than in 2.5.
