I created a simple material with one layer containing one BSDF. I used two textures on TWO DIFFERENT CHANNELS:
-B&W texture assigned to the layer used as a mask: ON CHANNEL 1
-Color texture applied to the reflectance 0°in the BSDF: ON CHANNEL 2
The preview in the material editor looks just fine.
I applied this material on a cube with two different mapping types:
-PLANAR mapping: ON CHANNEL 1
-BOX mapping: ON CHANNEL 2
I clicked on the two different texture buttons in the material editor in order to check that both textures on both channels work fine: everything looks fine in the rhino viewport.
The problem appears when I hit render or use the fire preview window: ONLY ONE CHANNEL IS TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT
. Only the channel which is shown in the Rhino viewport is taken into account.
I think the earlier version of the plugin didn’t cause this problem.
How can I get round this problem?
Will this problem be fixed?
Thank you in advance!
