is it possible in the future to have a button to refresh only a single texture that has been overwritten by an outside application?

the refreshAllTextures command from rhino works but if there are many textures in a scene it is not an optimal solution.
some seperate controls in the texture editor would be a great help

thanks,
daniel

I can put that on my list, but please also try enabling Options > Check File Version, and see if that works for you. In some cases it will be good, while in others, it may slow things down. When it is enabled, the file version will be checked on access, which means that it will be updated when switching between textures, or even when left-clicking the texture's button (e.g. Bump, Refl. 0°, etc) in the material editor.

cool, thanks for the tip.

i"ll turn it on and see how things go.

we have all textures on the network, but i guess it simply compares date of change,
so it should not be affected by that much?
