Hello,

Is there a way of outputting separate Alphas for different objects or groups of object in 1 scene?

For example- at the moment I have a lot of objects on a ground plane- If I render the scene and alpha it includes the ground plane and all objects in 1 alpha (resulting in a white square)- is there a way of excluding certain objects from the alpha or, even better- creating separate alphas at the same time?

Thanks

Ed

Do you mean something like the objectID or materialID channel? (Sometimes it might be necessary to run the Maxwell_RandomizeObjectIDs before)
Otherwise you would have to hide the rest from camera and render each object seperately.
